A 501(c)3 organization founded in 1997, T-Town PAWS is Tuscaloosa’s Animal Welfare Organization. PAWS is a leader in regional spay/neuter, humane education, and animal rescue efforts.
In recent years, T-Town PAWS rescued, cared for, and spayed or neutered hundreds of unwanted animals from our community’s shelter – animals who otherwise faced euthanasia – and we ultimately adopted them to loving homes through our adoption facility and the Pet Supplies Plus adoption room. These pets provide our Tuscaloosa neighbors with comfort, security, and emotional support.
Concerned about the increasing problem of pet overpopulation despite community-wide rescue efforts, T-Town PAWS is developing aggressive spay/neuter outreach for 2012 and beyond. Watch our website for new initiatives as they are developed.
To support our local animal welfare efforts, T-Town PAWS offers a number of volunteer opportunities from adoption event and fundraising event positions, and occasional office work.
